Bowling with Brewers returns to Flemington & Kensington Bowling Club with this family-friendly event.

Enjoy beer and cider matched with burgers, chatting with brewers, and a bit of lawn bowls if you like. There will also be an optional short, fun bowling tournament (captained by brewers!) with prizes.

The ticket includes your choice of two beers or ciders from the feature breweries, and a burger (choose from seaweed & Kereru Brewing Company battered fish burger, 12-hour braised pulled pork burger with chipotle slaw, classic homemade American cheeseburger, and red gum, house-smoked three-bean burger with slaw).

The event starts at 12.30 but the kitchen is open until 4pm, so there's no need to rush down to redeem your burger. And the beer will be flowing into the evening.

The featured beers will be:

• Blue Elephant's #2 off-dry cider and Custodian English pub cider.
• Capital's Coast Ale California common.
• Chur's Something Hoppy NZ IPA.
• Deep Creek's Dusty Gringo India brown ale, Pontoon in a Monsoon NZ IPA and Steamfunk Watermelon Gose.
• Exit's Amber Ale, IPA and Milk Stout.
• Funk Estate's Super Afro-disiac imperial stout.
• Kereru's Guava Weisse fruit berliner weisse, Karengose Salty Seaweed Ale and Old Red Oak Ale amber ale.
• Riverside's 44 American amber ale, 777 imperial IPA and River Ale wheat ale.
• West City American Brown Ale and Footscray Ale American pale ale.

We’ve tasted all the burgers, cider and beers and come up with pairings we think work best. Take our recommendation or make your own choice from the 19 beers and ciders from the featured brewers that will be available.
